A new smartphone app lets users save and view online photos and videos using the internet without needing an internet-connected device, according to an announcement by an online media service provider.
In a blog post on Friday, DigitalGlobe said that it’s offering a new application called ISO Mobile, which lets users take photos and video without using a device.
Users can download a large image, save it to their phone, and then download a larger image and save it, too, without an internet signal.
It also offers the ability to use ISO Mobile to download and view large images without an Internet connection.
Users don’t need to use a device to view online images, according the blog post.
DigitalGlobes mobile app allows users to upload and download files, create and edit photos, and share them on social media.
It can also be used to browse photos and films, as well as play and record videos.
The new app, which is only available for Android devices, is not yet available for Apple iPhones and iPads, the company said.
It’s not yet clear how much time and effort is involved in creating the app.
DigitalGlobe’s announcement comes just days after the launch of a new version of Google’s photo app, Pixel, for Android.
Google said in a blog that it would be adding the ability for users to save and share photos and other online content with an internet link.
