The official Apple Watch app is getting a major overhaul.
Now, instead of simply asking a user to enter the name of a wearable application, the watch app will let the user select an application that’s available in the watch’s App Store, then select a link to the app from the watch face.
This is similar to how the Apple Watch works on iOS, but the new update will let users select and download the application directly from the Apple App Store.
Apple Watch is expected to launch later this year, and the Watch app should launch alongside it.
The new watch app is part of a new set of Apple Watch apps that also includes a calculator, an email app, a photo gallery app, and an music app.
The apps are available in iOS and watchOS, and they can be downloaded for free.
Apple Watch will become the latest smartwatch to be updated with Apple Watch Face Extensions, which will allow developers to add features to their apps, which includes adding new features such as notifications, reminders, or the ability to send email.
There are no other Watch apps in the App Store right now.
