Google’s smartwatch is an obvious next step for its smartwatch OS, and it’s certainly one that’s easy to get started with.
As Google announced today, the company’s got a way to make that process even easier.
As it turns out, you can just plug your watch into your computer’s USB port and run Chrome OS’ Android Wear app.
There’s no need to install any additional software or apps, though.
And you can actually just start up your smartwatch from your computer right now with the help of a Google assistant, so it’s just a matter of picking it up and using it.
You can even install apps like Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, and more.
The problem is that this process takes a while.
It takes you through a few steps before you’re ready to take your watch out of your pocket.
But if you’ve got an Android phone, you don’t have to do that at all.
You simply can simply plug the watch into the computer’s headphone jack and use a single-button on your phone to activate the Google Assistant.
The Google Assistant will start off by asking you what kind of device you want to control: a smartwatch or a smart watch that’s just for Google’s Watch app.
The watch will be automatically selected based on that information, and you can simply type in what you want your watch to do.
It’s that simple.
You can also pick your Android phone to be the Assistant’s default phone.
This will be the case whether you’re using the Android Wear browser or the Chrome OS browser, so if you’re running the Android browser and have your phone plugged in to your computer, your phone will be used as the default phone, instead of your watch.
The same goes for the Chrome Browser.
If you’re just using Chrome OS for Android and the Google Watch app is the default watch app, then the Android Watch app will be your default watch experience.
And this is where it gets really cool.
If the Google assistant is running on the watch and you’re in the Chrome browser, it will automatically prompt you to sign in with your Google account and then allow you to see your Android Watch apps.
And this is all done without any additional setup or configuration.
Just plug the Google watch into a computer, press the “Start Assistant” button on the Google Home, and voila, your Android Wear smartwatch will be running on your computer with Google Assistant on it.
If you’ve already installed Chrome OS on your Android device, then you’ll just need to download and install the Google App Store and the Watch app to get your watch on.
As of today, there’s no official way to get this to work on the Chromebook Pixel or other Android Wear watches, but the Google app will let you use the Watch as a default phone for now.
There are also other options for using your Android smartwatch as a standalone device for tasks like Google Assistant-powered search.
Just tap on the Assistant icon in the notification area and you’ll get to pick what you’d like to do with your watch, then it’ll just do the thing you want.
You don’t need to do anything else, and your phone doesn’t need a Google account to be able to do this.
